Mentoring

CSP Mentor Program
PCAM members who are actively pursuing their Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coach Federation (ICF) are eligible to participate in the PCAM Mentor Program. Over the course of four months participants in the Mentor Program will receive three group and three individual mentor coaching experiences for a total of 10 hours. The focus of this program is on the ICF Core Coaching Competencies to help Michigan coaches prepare for the examination process to attain the ACC credential. Qualified PCAM coaches who hold a PCC or MCC credential will provide the mentoring services. This project was inspired by PCAM’s commitment to advance the profession of coaching and reinforce and recognize the value of coach specific-training and credentialing.
PCAM members selected to participate in this program will commit to:
- Actively participate in all group and individual coaching sessions
- Attend the entire program, from beginning to end
- Provide their Mentor Coach with a minimum of two recorded coaching conversations with clients
- Pay the $200 fee for the four-month PCAM Mentor Program in advance
All Mentor Coaches will have earned either their PCC or MCC credential from the ICF and will be committed to the success of program participants. The Mentor Coaches for the first four-month program will be Sylvia Becker-Hill, David Chinsky and Grace Menzel. All three of these coaches hold the PCC credential from the ICF. For more information about these coaches, please consult the Directory of Credentialed Coaches on the PCAM website (www.michigancoaches.org).
