The Professional Coaches Association of Michigan is Michigan's professional organization for coaches.

"Coaching" is a hot topic because it has proven so effective in obtaining desired results for individual and organizational clients. That "hot" environment has led many people to begin calling themselves "coaches", some without the benefit of training or credentialing. Genuine professional coaching is a specialized process and relationship requiring rigorous understanding and application of well defined core competencies and theory, and requiring training and practice to become effective.
