Public speaking is one of those avenues. However, we tend to "data dump" our ideas and experiences. This method of information delivery frequently falls on deaf ears, droopy eyes and inaction. Rather, packaging your presentation (or data) in the form of a story (characters, journey, obstacle, overcoming obstacle, lesson learned) results in engaged listeners who take immediate action.
