Credentialing Support Program

General Information
PCAM's Credentialing Support Program (CSP) will serve Michigan coaches seeking the ICF ACC, PCC, or MCC credential by bringing together PCAM members with credentials and those member coaches seeking one of the above credentials through teleclasses, information sharing, and mentoring.
Our goals are to:
- Serve PCAM members' interests in ICF credentialing;
- Increase the number of ICF-credentialed coaches in Michigan and actively promote their professional development, growth, and success;
- Promote ICF credentialing for Michigan coaches as a way to: 1) Improve the credibility of the professional coaching industry, and 2) Ensure minimum practice and ethical standards are met;
- Ensure that coaches applying for ICF credentialing are, indeed, qualified to pursue the credential; and
- Increase the number of Michigan coaching applicants who receive their ICF credential after applying.
The CSP currently consists of three parts: bi-monthly teleclasses, the resource guide, and the mentoring program.
Teleclasses
Every month, CSP Committee members co-facilitate our teleclass that addresses one or more aspects of the ICF Core Coaching Competencies. These teleclasses are interactive and educational, drawing on the knowledge and experience of the credentialed facilitators as well as the participants. The classes are open to PCAM members who are both credentialed and/or still seeking their credentials. If you have questions about the teleclasses, please contact one of the committee members Nancy Mathias (nancy@focusld.com), Sandy Marshall (smarshallcoach@gmail.com) and Barbara Norris (mkdnorris@BlissfulLifeCoaching.com).
